WASHINGTON (TND) — Newly released video from Chester County Prison in Pennsylvania shows a murder convict scaling a wall to escape the facility. The footage was made public Wednesday, which marked seven days since 34-year-old Danelo Cavalcante has been at large. He escaped on August 31 shortly after 8:50 a.m. In the video, Cavalcante is seen standing near a doorway between two walls in the prison's outdoor exercise yard. He then starts crab-walking between the two walls, his hands on one wall and his feet on the other, while parallel to the ground.

An Oklahoma judge, Traci Soderstrom was caught sending 500 text messages from the bench while overseeing a murder trial in the killing of a 2-year-old boy, with her bailiff. The included messages that mocked prosecutors and were sprinkled with emojis. Traci Soderstrom has decided to step down from the bench on Friday just four days before, she was scheduled to go on trial in a special court. Mrs. Traci accepted that there were some things that she did inappropriately.

In Schenectady County, the bodies of Robert Guillaume, age 73, and Cathy Guillaume, age 65, were found Friday, July 7, inside a Rotterdam home on Fern Avenue, one block east of the Rotterdam Industrial Park. Both deaths were classified as homicides following autopsies, according to Rotterdam Police. Investigators did not reveal their cause of death.  No suspects had been arrested as of Thursday, July 13, a police spokesperson told Daily Voice, adding that there is no threat to the community.

The Jolly Fisherman & Steakhouse, located in Rosyln at 25 Main Street, announced via a Facebook post on Tuesday, May 16 that the restaurant will be closing at the end of June. Founded by the Scheiner family in 1957 and passed down for multiple generations, the eatery has continued to provide fresh seafood to Roslyn diners for decades. “It’s been a good run.
